Once again, we have closed the doors of this annual event to allow us to start planning next year's TangoFest. The launching of Tango In The Vineyards in Mudgee was so successful that we are going back next year with a bigger and more exciting program of events. The tremendous support given by the friendly people of Mudgee, particularly, the Mudgee Department of Tourism and Prince Hill Wines and the surrounding towns, was a very big inspiration for us to share the enjoyment that we all get in our dancing.
Tango champions Cristina and Daniel have taken the tango world by storm.
In 2008, they won four world titles: World Tango Championship (Tango Salon), Metropolitan Tango Championship (Tango Salon), Metropolitan Tango Championship (Milonga) and the Japan Open (Tango Salon). They are the first tango dancing couple to win all these world competitions in one year. What a record!
Laila and Leandro have been very busy travelling the globe. This couple have been the principal dancers in several sell out shows in Europe, USA, Buenos Aires and Asia that have been running for a long period and received great reviews. Laila and Leandro deliver electrifying performances which leaves you asking for more. The fluidity and passion in their dance will leave a lasting impression.
